Who is like You?

Hello everyone! Today I've switched to English again.

My last post about Venezuela's situation kept me meditating on how, I, as a Christian, should accept my country's circumstances with less complaints, and instead, do something and pray about it.

Last Sunday I had a great time at church! I felt the sermon was exclusively directed to me (well, that sounds kind of self-centered, haha), and it was about how everything is under God's control. EVERYTHING. Tragedies, our work, our expectations, our disappointments, absolutely everything. And the worst thing we could ever do, is complain. By complaining, we say DIRECTLY to God: " No, I don't trust You. Why on earth is THIS happening to me? I don't trust in what you're doing with my life/family/country "

As long as we know we are following God's path, doing what's right, and following the dream He's given to us, we should be absolutely sure He will make HIS best for us. And we can be sure that His best is actually the Best Thing that could ever happen to us.
"Now glory be to God, who by his mighty power at work within us is able to do far more than we would ever dare to ask or even dream of—infinitely beyond our highest prayers, desires, thoughts, or hopes." Ephesians 3:20

There is a beautiful song by Meredith Andrews that's been inside my head for weeks. It is about comparing anything we may have (a job, a life partner, a goal, friends, entertainment, etc.) with God, and of course, that leads to the conclusion that there is nothing like Him! Really! It's great when we are blessed to experiment this truth. So, don't expect anymore posts that are all about complaints. I will try to be coherent and highlight the good instead of the awful things. Afterall, there is something Godly in everything that happens.

Who Is Like You?

The thought of You is baffling
My mind can't wrap around You
This human cup cannot contain
Heaven's glory flood

Who is like You, Lord?
Who was and is to come
Forever worshipped and adored
We pour our hearts out
Here before Your throne
This is for You alone

The sight of You leaves me speechless
One glimpse and I come undone
This weight of glory stirs my soul
And I fall face down

Who is like You, Lord?
Who was and is to come
Forever worshipped and adored
We pour our hearts out
Here before Your throne
This is for You alone

And all I can say is holy
All I can do is fall on my face
And cry holy

Who is like You, Lord?
Who was and is to come
Forever worshipped and adored
We pour our hearts out
Here before Your throne
This is for You alone
